Volgens mij klopt het hele verhaal van naar het strand gaan niet en opgehaald worden door een vriend .
Dat is een afleidings maneuvre ,ook het verhaal van de verdwenen schoenen klopt niet en
Joran had na die avond een blauw oog .

Volgens mij zijn ze na het bezoeken van die fun (Carlos and Charlie's )club naar zijn appartementje gegaan en is daar het een en ander gebeurd wat niet door de beugel kan .
Er is een gevecht of worsteling ontstaan en dat is de reden van dat blauwe oog denk ik .
Ze is verkracht door joran en die vrienden en misschien heeft die vader er ook wat mee te maken ,want het is heel vreemd dat in het casino filmpje de vader ook aan tafel zat ( zie foto )



Toen het daar nogal mis ging in dat appartementje moesten ze van het lijk af en ja hoe doe je dat het beste .

Nou vader vd sloot heeft een goeie kennis met een crematorium op Aruba.

Verder is er na enige tijd een witte truck geweest bij de familie .
Het was een furniture truck ( zie foto )
en heeft bewijs materiaal meegenomen waar bloed of sporen aan zaten ,ook werd er een nieuwe matras gebracht,meubels (etc) , de muren geschilderd en het tapijt gevacuum cleaned

We, Dennis Domenico JACOBS and Luigi Angelo Giovanni CROES, head-officer and officer-first class with the Korps Politie Aruba, first mentioned attaced to the robbery project team (Atraco Team) and the latter with the section often occurring crimes district 2, declare the following.

On Friday, June 24th, at approximately 18.40 hours, we, the reporting officers, interrogated/interviewed the suspect:

Joran Andreas Petrus van der SLOOT born in Arnhem, the Netherlands on August 6th 1987, without occupation student (International School of Aruba) and living Montanja 19 on Aruba, for further information.

His statement that was given in Papiamento was translated and transcribed by me, JACOBS, into Dutch and goes as follows.

Before we, the reporting officers, started the interview, I, JACOBS, informed the suspect that he was not obliged to make any statement.

I, JACOBS, also informed the suspect that this interview is being taped.

"You are informing me that you have several questions for me and want to hear an answer to those questions. I am prepared to give them.

To your question whether I know a girl named "Karen" and whether I had a sexual relationship with her, I answer you the following. I know the girl named "Karen". I do not know Karen's last name. I had a sexual relationship with her but I do not remember the time period. (By Karen we mean the witness "Karen Theresa Paulina MARTINA"; remark JACOBS).

To your question whether I had a sexual relationship with Karen during "Carnaval" this year, I answer you in the affirmative. During the "fakkeloptocht" this year I was dancing in the "Last-Lap". I think it was near the bridge of the "Renaissance Hotel" when I saw Karen. I saw that Karen went to dance with Jaime CAARASQUILLA, nickname "Beto". I suspect that Karen was drinking at that moment in time but I did not see that. After the "fakkeloptocht" "Jaime CARRASQUILLA", "Freddy ZEDAN", "Karen" and myself walked to "Carlos & Charlies". According to me "Koen GOTTENBOS" was also with us when we were walking to Carlos & Charlies. Inside Carlos & Charlies Karen and I walked upstairs and started french kissing. After that Karen and me walked outside and walked to the "Pier" due east of Carlos & Charlies. When we were standing on the "Pier" I asked Karen if she could give me a "blow-job". Karen agreed to this and started sucking my ****. I do not remember if I was standing upright or if I was lying down on the ground when Karen gave me the blow-job. I have to state that I wanted to have sexual relations with Karen but that I did not have a condom on me at that precise moment. After Karen had given me the blow-job Freddy ZEDAN called me on my mobile phone. Freddy told me that they were going to go home and asked me how I would get home. According to me Freddy also told me that he was at that moment in time sitting in the car of "Chato". The name of "Chato" is "Leonardo" but I do not know his last name. According to me Chato is from Mexico. Freddy, Karen and me got a ride from Chato. Chato and Freddy were in the front and Karen and me got into the back. When Karen and me were sitting in the back I think I asked whether I had a sexual relation with her, I answer you the following. I know the girl named "Karen". I do not know Karen's last name. I had Karen give me another blow-job, something that she did then do. Chato saw then that Karen was giving me head in his pick-up. Chato drives a green 4-door pick-up of the Ford make when he brought us three, meaning Freddy, Karen and myself a ride to my house. I do not know the license plate of Chato's pick-up. When we arrived at my appartment the 4 of us went inside the appartment. Chato had a hip flask containing whiskey. Chato and Karen drank from the contents. I have to say that I am not sure any more if "Freddy ZEDAN" or "Fernando VIANA" was in the appartment with us. Karen and I went to lie down on the sofa-bed and had put a blanket over us. Karen and I started fondling and having "foreplay". Chato tried to pull the blanket off of us to see what we were doing. Chato asked me to ask Karen if he and I could have sexual relations with Karen together. On Chato's request I asked Karen if she was willing to have sex with me and Chato together. Karen told me that she did not want to have sex with me and Chato. After that Chato and Freddy left. I do not know where Chato and Freddy went to. Karen and I were on the sofa-bed. We started kissing and I fingered Karen. After that I had taken my clothes off. Karen then took off her clothes. At that point I was told by Karen to put on a condom. I went to my drawer and took out a condom and put it on. After that we had sex with each other. I do not know if Karen bled when I had sex with her. At no time did Karen say to me that she did not want to have sex with me. I can also not tell you anymore what the condition was of Karen when I had sex with her in my appartment. She had been drinking but I also had been drinking. We had also both drank from Chato's hip-flask. I don't remember right know what kind of alcoholic drink was in that hip-flask. After Karen and me had sex I went to the bathroom and threw the condom into the toilet. I have no recollection of what happened after that.

I only had sex with Karen three times. The first time I had sex with Karen was on the beach close to the "Havana Niteclub". I do not remember the date, but it was during a "Moonlite Party". On the day Karen and me had sex the first time we had both had alcoholic drinks but we were not drunk.

About two months ago I had sex with Karen for the last time. This happened in my appartement and on that day Karen stayed the night with me. According to me I had told my mother that Karen would be staying for the night.

To your question whether or not I had sex with a girl named "Stephania", I answer you that I have not.

To your question whether I know the girl named "Stephany BOEKHOUWER", I answer you the following. This year, I don't remember the exact date, Freddy, Jaime and me went to a "Houseparty" in Oranjestad. We drove in Jaime's car to the houseparty. The car of Jaime is famous because we had experienced a lot of things in Jaime's car. Jaime has a 4-door green "Honda". On that day Freddy had sex with Stephany BOEKHOUWER on the backseat of Jaime's car. I gave Freddy a condom before he had sex with Stephany. While Freddy was having sex with Stephany on the backseat, Jaime and myself stood down at the trunk of the car and drank alcoholic beverages.

To your question whether I had a relationship with a girl name "Rika", I answer you the following. Rika was my girlfriend but we did not have a sexual relationship with each other. We may have done some french kissing but I did not have sexual relations with her because she is 12 years old. Rika's parents found out about our relationship and that is why we stopped the relationship. I do not know Rika's last name.

dit bericht circuleerde op 16 juni 2005 van hogerhand al rond bij de amtenaren op Aruba!

Wat mij zorgen baart, is dat het internationaal pleefiguur (onbeholpenheid) dat Aruba heeft geslagen ook van invloed kan zijn op Curacao.

Wat Aruba nu moet doen, is onmiddelijk deze zaak afsluiten. Een persconferentie moet worden belegd waarin de premier erkent dat alle moeite is gedaan om Natalee te vinden. Helaas is het meisje vermist en er bestaat geen aanwijzingen meer waar het meisje kan zijn. De kans om haar te vinden in inmiddels nihil en dus zal Aruba dan ook de zaak sluiten. Iedereen wordt bedankt etc etc.

Ik verwacht dat het eiland nog de laatste laag kritiek over zich heen krijgt, maar daarna worden de journalisten weer elders uitgezonden, immers de ploegen kunnen niet eeuwig in Aruba blijven. Bovendien is eenmalig kritiek beter dan de dagelijkse docering.

Uiteraard blijft het land intern zoeken, maar extern is de zaak afgesloten. Ik leg dan ook onmiddelijk een spreekverbod op de verantwoordelijke ambtenaren.

Alleen op deze manier kan de rust terugkeren.

Wat te denken van de bar Carlos' n Charlie's om een jongen van 17
jaar ( toegang te verstrekken, na middernacht, terwijl iedereen weet
dat je in de bar door het personeel gepushed wordt om tequila in
noodtempo op te drinken. Tussen de groep Amerikanen zullen ook nog wel
minderjarige meisjes gezeten hebben. Iedere Arubaanse jongen tussen 14
en 54 weet dit en weet ook dat er veel toeristen (meisjes) zijn die het
drinken niet aankunnen en een gemakkelijke prooi zijn voor de heren.
Immers de ideale formule voor snel seks is: 3Z
( Zon, Zand en Zuipen)

Carlos' n Charlie's bar/restaurant claimt op haar website dat
iedereen gecontroleerd wordt op zijn of haar minderjarigheid. Dit is
natuurlijk een pertinente leugen, een kind van twaalf kan zo binnen
lopen. Ook de overheid is hier in gebreke omdat ze nimmer controle
acties uitvoeren en ook geen beleid hebben.

En beleid is kijken naar het heden en verleden. Bar/restaurant Carlos'
n Charlie's heeft niet een echt een goede reputatie. Ook in het
verleden waren ze al onderwerp van discussie o.m. met de verdwijning
van het 23-jarige meisje Amy Bradley wiens verdwijning nog steeds niet
opgelost is na 6 jaar, al bestaat er wel een sterk vermoeden dat ze nu
in de prostitutie zit.

Heeft de minister van justitie nooit kunnen bedenken dat in
horecagelegenheden waar klanten echt geprest worden om dronken te
worden, rare zaken kunnen gebeuren?
Bij Carlos' n Charlie's worden klanten door het barpersoneel op de
tafel gezet en moeten drank naar binnen gieten. Het personeel is pas
tevreden als men lallend omvalt en veel tieners kunnen de druk niet
weerstaan van het geroutineerde horecapersoneel en willen niet
"afgaan" bij hun vrienden.
Op dit soort horecazaken moet beleid toegepast worden en dat heeft de
minister van justitie verzuimd. Laat hem niet zeggen dat hij het niet
weet. Een falend beleid dus.

Als ik de juridische adviseur was van de onderhavige familie(s) zou ik
(ongeacht de uitkomst van het politieonderzoek en de oplossing van de
story) nu alvast bewijzen gaan verzamelen in welke mate het meisje en
de minderjarige jongen gedronken hebben, waarbij het verstrekken van
teveel tequila -zeker onder een soort vorm van dwang- voldoende is
om de (mede)aansprakelijkheid van Carlos' n Charlie's en de
overheid (lees: de minister van justitie) vast te stellen.

Teveel drank verschaffen is naar Amerikaanse begrippen ongeveer moord
en zeker op de wijze waarop dit onder psychische dwang gebeurt zoals
bij Carlos' n Charlie's. In de meeste staten moet je zelfs tenminste
21 jaar zijn i.p.v. 18 om alcohol te mogen nuttigen.

But his office also said the case is not closed, rather that it has now entered "a new phase" with four Aruba detectives still working on it, looking for new evidence.
In the chat one of the suspects said, "The fact that she's dead is not good," referring to Holloway.

Other chats occurring before May 30 were also found, in which the suspects discussed "picking up American girls and what they plan to do with them," Mos said. Such chats gave authorities an idea of how the suspects operated, he said.

Van der Sloot, vasthoudend jurist met principes

Maandag 27 juni 2005 - Jurist Paul van der Sloot, die op Aruba vast zat in de zaak Natalee Holloway, is hier vooral bekend van de 20-jarige strijd om de rondweg om Boxtel.

Paul van der Sloot is weliswaar lid van een brassband die met carnaval uit zijn dak gaat, maar op Aruba staat hij vooral bekend als de serieuze jurist die de rechtsbeginselen altijd en overal op nummer één heeft staan. Het ongeloof op Aruba over zijn arrestatie voor betrokkenheid bij de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway is daarom groot.
De gemeente Boxtel maakte eerder kennis met zijn vasthoudendheid en gedegen manier van werken. Paul van der Sloot vocht twintig jaar lang (van 1973 tot 1993) met buurtbewoners tegen de aanleg van een zuidelijke rondweg, waarvan het tracé deels moest lopen over grond van de familie Van der Sloot.
Raad van State

Hij rekende bij de Raad van State af met Boxtelse ambtenaren en bestuurders die rammelende bestemmingsplannen hadden geproduceerd. De rondweg kwam uiteindelijk niet door het landschappelijk waardevol gebied, maar een stukje zuidelijker naast een spoorweg, het Duits Lijntje, te liggen.
In zijn geboorteplaats Boxtel was veel kritiek op de acties van Van der Sloot, want zolang de rondweg er niet was vielen er in de bebouwde kom regelmatig verkeersdoden door het vele vrachtverkeer. Hij werd gezien als een querulant die met een hetze tegen een weg op zijn land de levens van de Boxtelse schooljeugd in gevaar bracht. Die kritiek heeft hem pijn gedaan, vertelde hij later.
Tilburg
De juridische scholing kreeg Van der Sloot (53) op de Universiteit van Tilburg waar hij in de jaren zeventig studeerde en medeoprichter was van zowel de Juridische Faculteitsvereniging Tilburg als het faculteitsblad ‘Nondejure’.
Het lag in de lijn der verwachting dat hij na zijn studie niet in dienst van de overheid trad, maar burgers bijstond die een conflict hadden met die overheid. Dat was in Arnhem, waar hij zijn vrouw Anita (lerares kunstzinnige vorming) leerde kennen en waar Joran en Valentijn, twee van de drie zonen, werden geboren.
Nieuwe baan

In 1991 vond Paul van het Sloot het tijd worden voor een nieuwe baan en vond die op Aruba waar hij voor vijf jaar werd aangesteld als jurist bij de Arubaanse regering. Eerst als landsadvocaat, maar zijn beroepshouding werd door de ministers niet altijd op prijs gesteld. „Ik probeerde altijd eerst een compromis te bereiken. Van procederen wordt vaak niemand wijzer. Als de overheid iets verkeerd heeft gedaan, geef ik dat gewoon toe. Je moet de feiten nooit anders voorstellen dan ze zijn. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat dit op den duur ook de beste resultaten geeft“, aldus Van der Sloot in een interview tien jaar geleden in het Brabants Dagblad. Hij wisselde van baan: de regering liet hem voortaan contracten opstellen.
Even overwoog het gezin Van der Sloot om terug te komen nar Nederland, maar de kleinschaligheid van Aruba beviel uitstekend en er bleken genoeg mogelijkheden om carrière te maken. Hij werd kabinetschef bij het openbaar ministerie en geeft nu nog colleges bestuursrecht aan de plaatselijke universiteit.
Rechter
Twee jaar geleden kreeg Van der Sloot de kans om rechter te worden. Met zijn achtergrond betekent dat een opleiding van drie jaar. In het kader van de opleiding werd hij benoemd tot plaatsvervangend rechter bij het Antilliaanse gerechtshof. De stage van een jaar in Nederland heeft hij onlangs afgerond. Een rechtszaak heeft Van der Sloot nog niet gedaan.

Aruba steeds belangrijker als overslagplaats voor drugs

ORANJESTAD — Aruba fungeert in toenemende mate als een overslagplaats voor drugs, die hun weg per vliegtuig en cruiseschip vinden naar Amerika en in mindere mate naar Europa. Dat staat vermeld in het zaterdag verschenen International Narcotics Control Strategy Report over 2007, uitgegeven door het Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs van het Amerikaanse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken.

In het rapport over 2006 werd nog slechts melding gemaakt over de functie van Aruba als overslagplaats. Volgens de ter beschikking staande gegevens van het Bureau over de eerste tien maanden van 2007 werd 390 kilo cocaïne en 13 kilo heroïne onderschept.

In het INCSR rapport over 2005 werd ook nog melding gemaakt over inbeslagname van marihuana en XTC tabletten, maar in de rapporten over 2006 en 2007 worden die hoeveelheden niet meer genoemd. Wel wordt een toenemend gebruik van xtc door de jeugd in uitgaansgelegenheden geconstateerd. De kweek en productie van verdovende middelen op Aruba is niet voldoende voor een vermelding in het rapport.

Volgens het rapport over 2007 staat dat de regering een ‘dynamisch anti-drugs beleid’ voert, in nauwe samenwerking met haar regionale en internationale partners.

De Arubaanse justitie heeft in 2007 een aantal tussenhandelaren, die verdovende middelen aan koeriers leverden, aangehouden en veroordeeld. Het rapport vermeldt geen details of aantallen. Dat is evenmin het geval waar het gaat om de samenwerking met de Amerikaanse autoriteiten bij de aanhouding van Amerikaanse staatsburgers die pogingen ondernamen om meerdere kilo’s drugs naar de Verenigde Staten te smokkelen.

In de rapporten over 2005 en 2006 werd nog in vage termen melding gemaakt van uitbreiding van faciliteiten ten behoeve van FOL, de Forward Operating Location op de luchthaven, die met vliegtuigen van de Amerikaanse luchtmacht en de douane, vanuit de lucht drugstransporten probeert op te sporen. In het rapport over 2007 wordt die uitbreiding niet meer genoemd en evenmin of daar nog steeds sprake van is.

In Amerikaanse ogen blijft drugssmokkel en daaraan gerelateerde witwaspraktijken en crimineel geweld een bedreiging vormen voor Aruba en de Nederlandse Antillen. Uitbreiding van de justitiële samenwerking tussen de Amerikaanse, Nederlandse, Antilliaanse en Arubaanse regeringen kan volgens de opstellers van het rapport bijdragen aan een vermindering van die dreiging op de eilanden en ook aan een breder opgezette gezamenlijke strijd tegen de drugscriminaliteit in de Caribische regio.

MERKWAARDIG

Hoofdofficier van Justitie Hans Mos vindt dat de schrijvers van het Amerikaanse rapport een ‘merkwaardige’ conclusie hebben gevormd op basis van de cijfers die genoemd worden. “De dertien kilo heroïne die vorig jaar onderschept zou zijn, waarschijnlijk van één vangst, is nou niet een indrukwekkende hoeveelheid.”

Volgens hem wordt de conclusie ‘Aruba een doorvoerhaven voor heroïne’ niet gedragen door de cijfers. “Er is sprake van een dalende trend.” In 2000 werd er volgens het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) 78 kilo heroïne onderschept, in 2001 65, in 2002 26. Dat aantal zakte naar 12 kilo in 2006, met een tussentijdse opleving in 2005, toen er 50 kilo in beslag werd genomen.

Ook in cocaïne en xtc wordt er minder gehandeld met Aruba door het strengere toezicht op de luchthaven Reina Beatrix en de honderdprocent controles op Schiphol in Nederland. “Het aantal bolletjeslikkers is sterk afgenomen”, aldus Mos. “En er zijn veel minder drugsbootjes voor de kust te zien.”

Volgens mij hebben ze bij C& C gezegd  we brengen je wel even naar het Hotel ,zeer hoffelijk .Als je wat gedronken hebt loop je niet graag naar huis .
daarna zijn ze volgens mij of naar een drugsparty gegaan of naar een illegaal strand feest  cq party boot
Daarna hebben ze zich aan haar vergrepen en ze is in coma geraaakt van de party drugs
,je kan daarvan zelfs 3 uur in coma raken !
Hij heeft of een vriendje gebeld om dr in zee  te dumpen of (!) verstopt in een boot bijv onder een dekzeil
En de volgende dag op zee gedumpt , s'nachts valt dat mijns inziens veel te veel op

PENHAUL: And how long did it actually take to find the body?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think it was -- he was missing for probably about five years before that.

PENHAUL (voice-over): Teams have hunted here for signs of Natalee, but the wind and sand quickly obscure traces of anything that may be buried.

Beyond that, the sea stretches to the horizon. It's 690 miles due west to Panama. Any object that drifts off Aruba's west coast will eventually end up in Panama. We head out on the search and rescue boat to Manchebo Point, notorious because this is where two powerful ocean currents collide.

EFRAIN BOEKHUODT, SEARCH & RESCUE TEAM: Once you reach a certain point, really you'll get yourself in the current. And here is where most of the problems happen. Once you get in the current, you're going to drift about two miles an hour on a slow day.

PENHAUL: Any closer to shore, he says, and the surf could drag an object back to the beach. But here, with more than a mile and a half off Aruba's west coast, the water is more than 60 feet deep. We're going to test those currents.

PENHAUL: Here, you can feel a menacing undertow and a strong swell. Boekhuodt tells me if they leave me in the water long enough, I'll drift northwest a few miles, then due west out into open ocean.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK.

PENHAUL: But he says it would not be easy to sail a boat out this far at night to dump something.

BOEKHUODT: If you put your foot in the water at night, you're on radar.
PENHAUL: Back in the air, Aruba's north coast looks much more rugged, but the tides are predictable.

BOEKHUODT: Everything you throw here in the water in the north shore will always get back to the north shore. It will always get back to land.

PENHAUL (on camera): Where would you hide an object? Would you dump it in the sea or would you hide it on land?

BOEKHUODT: I would hide it on land.

PENHAUL: Unlike in the sand dunes, Croes (ph) says it would take several hours to dig a hole in the hard earth amid the rocks and cacti. You can, though, just make out the entrances to a handful of old gold mine shafts abandoned more than 100 years ago and now partly flooded with sea water.

(on camera): What kind of equipment would you need to get down into those? Would you need ropes?

BOEKHUODT: Ropes and somebody who will dare to go in there.

PENHAUL (voice-over): It's been three weeks to the day since Natalee vanished, and never finding out what happened to her is a possibility few dare to mention.

Dutch supect changed his story.13 juni 2005
First story:
Natalee Holloway, was last seen in Carlos ‘n Charlie’s on the dawn of 30th May, 2005 with three young male, who are now suspects in the case.
Their story was: they all went to the Arashi Beach, on the far northern part of Aruba, where the Dutch suspect, Joran van der Sloot told officials that he and Natalee were romantically involved in the back of the car. Further than that they allegedly just dropped her off in front of the Holiday Inn hotel and here is when she met the two security guards, after this they never saw her again.

Latest confirmed story:
Two suspects: Joran van der Sloot and Abraham Jones were/are detained in the same cellblock at the police department in Noord. It is here that a crying suspect, Joran van der Sloot supposedly commented to another suspect, Abraham Jones the following:
He is very preoccupied because he thinks that the other two Surinamese suspects might be lying and blaming him for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
His new story is that they (with they, I mean the two other suspects) dropped him off at his home, with Natalee Holloway still in the car, further he and Natalee exchanged e-mail address and that was the last time he saw her.He also added that the story that he told the officials was orchestrated at his home, near the pool. The lawyer of suspect Abraham Jones, Chris Lejuez has stated all this, confirming the story this morning.

A lousy poker player

Van Der Sloot, the 17-year-old son of an Aruban justice official, is being held in connection with the vanishing of 18-year-old Holloway. He was a bad bluffer and lost big during a Texas Hold 'Em tournament on the Caribbean island back in April.

Miami club impresario Tommy Pooch, who played next to Van Der Sloot for more than two hours, tells us the Dutch-born youth "was as nice as can be, but he was a terrible poker player.

"He kept buying back in, and finally he got knocked out when they stopped buy-ins," Pooch said. "He was a terrible bluffer . . . He was a young, excitable kid. He wore the sunglasses and the baseball cap like they do on TV, but even that didn't help."

Van Der Sloot must have had a habit of losing money in the poker room of the Holiday Inn-Aruba. "It seemed like everyone knew him there," Pooch said. "It was his hangout. He knew all the dealers by name. He was a local yokel."

Last week, an Aruba judge released two brothers held as suspects in the disappearance of Holloway, but ordered that Van Der Sloot be kept in custody for another 60 days. Holloway was last seen around 1 a.m. on May 30 leaving a local nightclub with Van Der Sloot and his buddies Satish Kalpoe, 18, and his brother Deepak, 21.

It was the last day of Holloway's high school graduation trip with her classmates.

This week's National Enquirer advances the theory that Van Der Sloot confessed to his father that he dumped Holloway's body in shark-infested waters after she accidentally hit her head and drowned in an Ecstasy-induced stupor on an Aruban beach.

A source told the tabloid that Van Der Sloot and Holloway went swimming together after meeting at the club and taking drugs together.

"Natalee fell, hit her head on a rock and drowned," the Enquirer quotes its source. "In a drug-and-alcohol induced panic, Joran felt he had no other choice but to dispose of Natalee's body in the sea."

A woman said she was **** after leaving the same bar in Aruba where missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway was last seen.

"Aruba is not as safe as the commercials make it out to be," said Marie, who withheld her last name

Marie said she made four trips to Aruba with friends and believed the island was safe. That's why she had no qualms about traveling there alone for Christmas 2001. She stayed at the same Holiday Inn where Holloway and her high school classmates booked their rooms. On Christmas Eve, Marie said she went to Carlos 'N Charlie's, the same bar where the missing Alabama teen was last seen.

When she left, Marie said a man pulled her into his car, drove away and **** her.

"As I was being pulled into vehicle, screams came out of me that I couldn't imagine ever coming out of me of me and people did nothing," said Marie.

"I have never felt threatened, felt scared. Aruba is home away from home for me and always will be," said Neely Cosentino, an Aruba homeowner.

Cosentino said she and her husband bought a second home in Aruba and spend more than half the year there. She said they made the investment because they believe the island is safe. The government does not tolerant crime because tourism is their top industry.

"Over 500,000 tourists a year visit Aruba, and if it wasn't because of us Americans, Aruba wouldn't be the way it is. So to answer your question, there is zero tolerance for anybody that is threatening or doing any damage to Americans," said Cosentino.

Marie said she managed to get away from her assailant that night. She said she did not report the attack to island police because she was alone and afraid, but mostly because she would not have been able to identify her attacker.

In 1991 vond Paul van het Sloot het tijd worden voor een nieuwe baan en vond die op Aruba waar hij voor vijf jaar werd aangesteld als jurist bij de Arubaanse regering. Eerst als landsadvocaat, maar zijn beroepshouding werd door de ministers niet altijd op prijs gesteld. „Ik probeerde altijd eerst een compromis te bereiken. Van procederen wordt vaak niemand wijzer. Als de overheid iets verkeerd heeft gedaan, geef ik dat gewoon toe. Je moet de feiten nooit anders voorstellen dan ze zijn. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat dit op den duur ook de beste resultaten geeft“, aldus Van der Sloot in een interview tien jaar geleden in het Brabants Dagblad. Hij wisselde van baan: de regering liet hem voortaan contracten opstellen.
Even overwoog het gezin Van der Sloot om terug te komen nar Nederland, maar de kleinschaligheid van Aruba beviel uitstekend en er bleken genoeg mogelijkheden om carrière te maken. Hij werd kabinetschef bij het openbaar ministerie en geeft nu nog colleges bestuursrecht aan de plaatselijke universiteit.

Rechter
Twee jaar geleden kreeg Van der Sloot de kans om rechter te worden. Met zijn achtergrond betekent dat een opleiding van drie jaar. In het kader van de opleiding werd hij benoemd tot plaatsvervangend rechter bij het Antilliaanse gerechtshof. De stage van een jaar in Nederland heeft hij onlangs afgerond. Een rechtszaak heeft Van der Sloot nog niet gedaan.

Pa vd sloot is dus landsadvocaat geweest ,plaatsvervangend rechter en tijdelijk rechter in opleiding .
In al die functies is hij dus volledig mislukt blijkt nu .
Wat de reden precies is de reden dat hij geen rechter is geworden is nogal onduidelijk .
Maar er is natuurlijk iets aan de hand geweest .
Nu is hij gewoon weer advocaat op een wellicht saai kantoortje
Terug bij af heet dat .
Als landsadvocaat treed je op namens het land en hebt dan ook inzicht in vrijwel alle zaken die daar spelen .
Het zou best eens zo kunnen zijn dat Pa vd Sloot de touwtjes in deze zaak volledig in handen heeft en dat er allerlei zaken in de doofpot gestopt zijn .
Pa vd Sloot kon immers dreigen en het OM manipuleren en laten zwijgen .

Het zou misschien interessant zijn te kijken welke zaken Pa vd Sloot gedaan heeft als Landsadvocaat en wie hij zoal veroordeeld heeft als plaatsvervangend rechter en om te kijken tegen wie hij geprocedeerd heeft als advocaat en tegen wie dat was.
